The 2024 Mustang Mach-E introduces its fastest version yet, achieving 0-60 mph in a mere 3.3 seconds. This speed surpasses its rivals, including the Tesla Model Y Performance and the Porsche Macan 4 Electric. Central to this feat is the Mustang Mach-E GT with the Performance Upgrade, which enhances torque by an additional 100 lb. ft. through advanced powertrain thermal modeling and a new, in-house developed eMotor.
Enhanced Standard Features and Accessibility
Ford has integrated popular performance features into the standard package for the 2024 Mustang Mach-E GT. These include Ford Performance front seats, the MagneRide® Damping System, and Brembo™ branded front brake calipers, which were previously exclusive to the 2023 Performance Edition.
Faster Charging and Improved Range
Significantly, the 2024 model introduces improved DC fast charging capabilities, reducing the charging time for the extended range battery by nearly 9 minutes compared to previous models. A lighter, newly developed rear eMotor also helps extend the driving range, underscoring Ford’s commitment to continuous improvement in EV technology.
Expanded Charging Network and New Tech Features
Mustang Mach-E owners now benefit from access to over 15,000 Tesla Superchargers through the BlueOval™ Charge Network. Enhancements in navigation and charging tech include updated EV Routing for Google Maps and Apple Maps, and a new Public Charging app, making it easier for drivers to locate and connect to charging stations.
